Sausage Strata

1 lb bulk sausage
6 extra large eggs
2 cups milk
1/2 cup green pepper, sliced
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1 tsp worcestershire sauce
1 tsp dijon mustard
8 slices day old bread, cubed
1 cup any type of sharp cheese, shredded


Cook sausage, drain well. Beat eggs, milk, mustard and worcestershire sauce. Then add green pepper and onion. Spread the bread cubes in bottom of well greased 9x13" baking pan. Spread the sausage on top. Pour egg mixture over all and cover with grated cheese. Cover with plastic wrap and place in refrigerator overnight. Bake at 350* for 45 minutes. Serves 6
